Free Level 3 Hairdressing Course in Islington. Classes run at Capital City College Finsbury Park Campus, full-time during the day. You'll need a Level 2 NVQ in Hairdressing, or equivalent, to join; all applicants also have an interview and assessment. Over 37 weeks, you'll build on your existing skills in cutting, colouring, styling, and colour correction, and practise on real clients in the college salon. The course also covers hairdressing consultation, anatomy and physiology, and salon health and safety.

Who this course is for

In this course, you will develop the skills you need to creatively cut hair using a combination of techniques such as styling and colouring. You will learn how to provide an effective hairdressing consultation, as well as promote additional services and products to clients.Throughout the course, you will monitor procedures to ensure that the salon operates safely in all areas. You will have plenty of opportunities to practise what you are learning with real customers in our salon, under the guidance of professional beauty experts. In addition, you will gain an understanding of the relevant anatomy and physiology and will further develop your English skills.
