About this course

Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing Course in Loughborough. Classes run at Main Campus, part-time during the day, over one year.

Fees may apply depending on your age and circumstances. Contact Main Campus for details on what you might pay.

The course covers two modules: Marketing Essentials and Content and Channels. You'll build knowledge of how marketing works and how digital channels and content are used in practice. No previous marketing experience is needed. You'll finish with a Foundation Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing.

Who this course is for

The aim of the Foundation Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing (new syllabus 2024) is to equip you with the skills, knowledge and understanding to perform professionally in a support-level marketing role. We bring learning to life through meaningful assessments which reflect the demands of the modern industry. As a result, you will develop a good understanding of the wider role of marketing and see how your practical skills can be applied to future career progression.

Entry requirements

It is not necessary to have any previous experience or knowledge of marketing. We do ask that if English is not your first language, you provide us with evidence that you have achieved - within the last 2 years - either an IELTS Academic Module with an overall score of 6.5 (each component pass being at 6.0 or above) or the Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English at grade B or above.

What you will learn

  • You'll explore the core principles of marketing and how they apply in a professional setting.
  • You'll study how digital content is created and used across different channels.
  • You'll develop an understanding of how marketing supports business goals.
  • You'll learn how to apply practical marketing skills in a support-level role.
  • You'll prepare for both modules through exam-based assessment.

How you will learn

Classes are delivered face-to-face at Main Campus. The course has two modules: Marketing Essentials and Content and Channels. Both are assessed by exam. Each module can be taken as a standalone award and built up toward the full qualification, so you can start in September or January.

What you will need to bring

If English is not your first language, you will need to provide evidence of an IELTS Academic score of 6.5 overall (with no component below 6.0), or a Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English at grade B or above, achieved within the last two years. Main Campus will confirm what else you need before you start.
