About this course

Level 3 Creative Media Course in Hastings. Classes run at East Sussex College Hastings Station Plaza Campus.

You'll work with industry-standard software across animation, film and video editing, audio production, game design, and 3D modelling. You'll also develop concept art skills and explore interactive media. Projects build through both years, finishing with a final major project. You need at least five GCSEs at grade 4 to 9, including English or maths, plus a portfolio of work.

You'll finish with a Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology at Level 3.

Who this course is for

Develop your creative skills and understanding of digital media. You will be introduced to industry-standard software with the aim of building skills and technical know how in audio-production, animation, film and video as well as game design, games engines, concept art, 3D modelling and the details and components of interactive media. Develop your technical ability in the virtual world to design and make 3D models of sets and characters, as well as research and plan concepts for games.

Entry requirements

Minimum five grade 4-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 2 course, and English or maths at grade 4. A portfolio of work will be required.
