About this course

Level 2 Art and Design Course in Hastings. Classes run at East Sussex College Hastings Station Plaza Campus, full-time during the day.

The course covers drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, glasswork, digital art, and photography. Over the year, you build a portfolio of work across these areas and begin to find where your strengths lie. You need at least four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English or maths at grade 3, plus a portfolio of work to apply.

You finish with a Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design, awarded by University of the Arts London.

This Level 2 course will build your confidence and provide you with opportunities to consolidate your skills within drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, glasswork, digital art and photography.

Entry requirements

Minimum four grade 3-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 1 course, and English Language or maths at grade 3. A portfolio of work will be required.
