About this course

Free Level 3 Carpentry Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You learn on the job while earning, with part-time college attendance to build the underpinning knowledge alongside your practical work. This is a City and Guilds level 3 carpentry qualification for employed carpenters already working at this level. You'll need to have achieved a Level 2 NVQ in a relevant wood occupation before starting. The course typically takes 10 months to complete.

This qualification supports the learner to attain enabling, fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge. Students will attend college on a part time basis to develop their knowledge with a range of blended learning, team building group activities and lectures in the classroom environment.

Entry requirements

The City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Trowel Occupations is suitable for employed individuals who have already achieved Level 2 NVQ in Trowel Occupations and are able to demonstrate that they are working at a Level 3 standard and can meet the criteria mentioned below to complete the qualification.
