About this course

Free Level 3 Autism Course. Study online, at your own pace, from anywhere in England. This free autism course is funded through the Adult Skills Free Courses for Jobs scheme, so there is no cost if you meet the eligibility criteria. You'll build a thorough understanding of autism, individual support needs, and the positive approaches used to help people with autism live fuller lives. The course also covers conditions that commonly co-occur with autism, safeguarding responsibilities, and therapeutic interventions. It typically takes 18 weeks to complete.

Who this course is for

Our Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Autism will provide you with knowledge and understanding of Autism and the support needs, as each individual is unique. You will learn about the range of positive approaches, therapeutic interventions, support available and conditions that commonly co-occur with autism and the treatment options available. You will develop your understanding of the role and responsibilities relating to safeguarding and ways you can support individuals with autism to lead fulfilling lives.

Entry requirements

Aged 19+ as of 31st August 2024. Currently live in England and lived in the EU for 3 years. Funded Via the Adult Skills Funded Free Courses for Jobs. You must be either unemployed or in employment but earning below the low wage threshold of £25,000 or are aged 19-23 with a prior attainment below level 3 to be eligible to undertake this free online course.
