Free Level 2 Mental Health Awareness Course in Selby. Evening classes run at Selby Adult Learning and Skills Service, so you can fit study around your existing commitments. The course runs over 15 weeks, part-time. You'll build a solid understanding of mental health conditions, how they affect people, and how to respond with care and confidence. The course covers topics relevant to working in care, education, and community support roles. You'll need basic IT skills to take part. You'll finish with the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness.

To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolement You must have basic IT skills

How you will learn
Classes are delivered face-to-face at the centre on weekday evenings. You'll learn through group discussion, tutor-led sessions, and written activities. Assessment is through written assignments or workbook tasks that you complete during and between sessions. There are no formal exams.
