
Free Level 2 Information and Creative Technology Course in Manchester. Classes run at Loreto Sixth Form College, full-time during the day.
The course takes one year to complete. You'll build practical ICT skills by creating technology-based products and systems. Units cover how organisations use technology, digital tools, and creative media. You'll also develop an understanding of how businesses operate in a digital world.
You'll finish with a Pearson BTEC First Extended Certificate in Information and Creative Technology.
This is a level 2 programme that is suitable for students who have not been able to achieve sufficient GCSE grades to enrol on advanced courses such as BTEC Extended National Diploma or A levels.
This course is aimed at giving students opportunities to learn and practice their ICT skills by making information and creative technology-based products and/or systems. The course focuses on providing students with an understanding and knowledge of how organisations function and how they operate in this age of information and creative technology.
A majority of overall GCSE grades at grade 3 and above, including a minimum of four GCSEs at grade 3 (or D) or above
OR
Level 2 Vocational Programme at Merit or above (e.g. BTEC/NVQ/OCR National) PLUS two GCSEs at Grade 3 or above.
