Free Level 2 Information, Advice or Guidance Course in Scarborough. Evening classes run at Scarborough Adult Learning and Skills Service, part-time to fit around your existing commitments. This free information, advice or guidance course for adults builds the knowledge and skills needed to support people effectively in IAG roles. Sessions run for around 4 hours. The course suits those already working in a support, community, or advisory setting who want a recognised information, advice or guidance qualification alongside their current role.

Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice,further eligibility may be linked to where you live and your individual income.

How you will learn
Classes are delivered in a classroom setting at Scarborough Adult Learning and Skills Service. You'll learn through tutor-led sessions, group discussion, and practical activities. Assessment is through portfolio-based evidence and written tasks that reflect your understanding and application of IAG principles. Your tutor will guide you through what evidence to gather as the course progresses.
