How you will learn

The qualification assesses three components: speaking, listening and communication; reading; and writing. Assessment is work-based, taking place in your workplace setting. Each component is assessed separately. Reading and writing are assessed through set tasks. Speaking, listening and communication is assessed through observed activities. Your employer supports your learning throughout, and the centre will guide you on what each assessment involves.
