You will learn and put into practise English language skills which will enable you to work and communicate confidently, effectively and independently and ensure you have the skills you need for employment and education.

You will attend weekly classroom based workshops where you trainer will support you to prepare for a end of course assessment.

How you will learn

You'll attend weekly classroom-based sessions at First Rung Ponders End Centre. Learning is supported by trainers who work with you across Reading, Writing, and Speaking and Listening. Assessment is through externally set OCR tests in Reading and Writing, plus a Speaking and Listening assessment. You'll need to pass each component to achieve the full qualification.
