Entry requirements

We'll do a quick skills check with you to check you're starting in the right place, so you don't need any academic qualifications.

What you will learn

  • You'll read and understand a range of texts, including formal and informal documents.
  • You'll write clearly and accurately for different purposes and audiences.
  • You'll use grammar, punctuation, and spelling correctly in your writing.
  • You'll identify the main points and themes in written material.
  • You'll plan and structure longer pieces of writing.
