This course is for anyone aged 19 or over, whose first language is not English. You will need to provide ID such as a passport, a National Insurance number and we will need to ask you about your residency in the UK.

How you will learn
Classes are held in person at Skipton Adult Learning & Skills Service on evenings across 22 weeks. You'll take part in speaking and listening activities in the classroom, including conversations, discussions, and listening tasks. Assessment is through observed speaking and listening tasks rather than written exams, so your spoken English is assessed directly in a real communicative context.
