About this course

Free Level 2 End of Life Care Course. Study online at your own pace, fitting learning around your work and home life. The course takes around 15 weeks to complete.

You'll study six units covering the full scope of the course. Topics include care planning, pain and discomfort management, dementia, loss and grief, and the care worker's role at the time of death. The course is delivered by Bournemouth and Poole College and assessed through written assignments.

You'll finish with an NCFE Certificate in the Principles of End of Life Care at Level 2.

By 2040, the number of people aged over 64 in Britain is expected to grow from 9.5 million to 15 million. The population is aging, meaning more people will live with serious chronic illness and need end of life care. You study entirely online, working through six written units at your own pace. Each unit is assessed through written assignments. You'll have access to an online tutor who provides feedback and support throughout the course. Enrolment is completed online.
