Free Level 2 Employability Skills Course in Walsall. Classes run at Nova Training Bloxwich, full-time during the day. This free employability skills course is open to anyone aged 16 to 18 years old, with no previous experience needed. Over 13 weeks, you'll build the practical skills and knowledge employers look for, from job searching and interview preparation to working independently and progressing in your career. The level 2 employability skills classes cover everything from getting into work to developing on the job.

Who this course is for

Employability Skills qualifications are designed to support an individual successfully gaining a job, progressing in a chosen field, preparing the individual for further study and supporting the development of techniques required for successful independent living.

This qualification is aimed at anyone who wants to live a more independent life, progress in education and/or their employment prospects; get into a job, develop on the job or move onto the next job, as they progress along the career ladder.

Entry requirements

Must be aged 16 to 18 and you don't need any previous experience in the industry already.

How you will learn

You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at Nova Training Bloxwich. Assessment is through portfolio work, practical tasks, and written activities completed during the course. Your tutor will guide you through each unit and give feedback as you progress. There are no formal exams.
