Free Level 2 Diploma Plumbing Course in Oswestry. Classes run full-time at North Shropshire College, one day after another across a year of focused study. You'll build on Level 1 skills, working with copper and plastic pipework, and learning installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems. Practical work runs alongside knowledge-based activities, all supervised. You'll need at least four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and maths, or a Level 1 Plumbing qualification with good progress in English and maths.
Who this course is for
You will be learning basic skills and knowledge at a higher level than the Level 1 qualification, and will be supervised as you undertake various practical and knowledge- based activities. You will be able to learn from a selection of subjects which typically include copper pipework, plastic pipework, ground maintenance, installation repair and maintenance of plumbing & heating systems.
Entry requirements
A minimum of four GSCEs at grade 3, including English and maths or successful completion of the Level 1 Plumbing qualification and good progress with English and maths. Applicants without suitable practical experience may be advised to commence study at Level 1.
