About this course

Free Level 2 Digital and IT Skills Course in London. Classes run at The Hive London, Monday to Thursday in the classroom and Friday from home.

The course runs for around one month, part-time during the day. You'll study four units: digital skills and career planning, social media marketing, cybersecurity, and spreadsheet software. These cover the digital skills employers ask for across finance, marketing, admin, and other sectors.

You'll finish with a Gateway Qualifications Certificate in Digital and IT Skills.

Who this course is for

This will help prepare you for employment in roles in the creative and digital industries, but is also designed for job roles in other industries where specific digital skills are required, such as finance, marketing, manufacturing, and more. After this, you may decide to go onto a Level 2 diploma, or even higher onto a Level 3 qualification.

Entry requirements

To join this course, you must: live in London, have the right to live and work in the UK, be 19 years old or older as of 31 August 2026, not be in full-time education, not be on a student visa, skilled worker, or sponsored visa, and be unemployed or low income (earning below £28,860 per annum).
