Free Level 2 Cabin Crew Course in Bournemouth. Classes run full-time at Bournemouth and Poole College Bournemouth Campus, five days a week during the day. The course runs for one academic year, starting in September, and takes around six months of focused study. You'll cover the role of air cabin crew, safety and emergency procedures, first aid, food and drink service, and interview techniques. The course also opens doors into ground crew work, cruise lines, and luxury yacht hospitality. You'll need to be aged 17 or over, with a minimum of four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English or Maths.

This Air Cabin Crew and Ground Operations course will give you the status to seek employment as a member of air cabin crew or other hospitality industries such as cruise line staff, luxury trains and ground crew work.

This qualification is equivalent to 5 GCSEs, is widely recognised by industry and is taught within a grade 1, award-winning department.

Entry requirements

Applicants must be aged 17 or over and have either

* A minimum of four GCSEs at grades 9 - 3, including one or both in English and Maths.

  • You'll take part in cabin crew simulation sessions, including safety demonstrations and service scenarios.

How you will learn

You'll learn through a mix of classroom sessions, practical activities, and cabin crew simulations. Assessment includes written assignments, online multiple choice exams, practical activities and role plays, presentations, and cabin crew simulation sessions. Some training aspects require you to wear an airline-style uniform. You'll also complete a swimming assessment and work with staff who have direct airline experience.
