Free Level 2 Bricklaying Course in Hereford. Classes run at Herefordshire College, full-time during the day. This is a physically demanding, hands-on course that builds on Level 1 brickwork skills. You'll need at least four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and maths, or a Level 1 Brickwork qualification with good progress in English and maths. The course runs for one year. It covers the practical and technical skills bricklayers use on site every day.

Building on the skills developed at Level 1, this course is delivered by experienced staff committed to helping individuals to achieve at their highest potential. Due to the nature of the industry, this is a physically challenging course which is predominantly delivered in a practical format.
Entry requirements
A minimum of four GSCEs at grade 3, including English and maths or successful completion of the Level 1 Brickwork qualification and good progress with English and maths. Applicants without suitable practical experience may be advised to commence study at Level 1.

How you will learn
Most of your learning is practical and workshop-based. You'll work on bricklaying tasks in a hands-on environment, assessed on the quality and accuracy of your work. There is also underpinning knowledge assessed through written or online tests covering materials, methods, and health and safety. Teaching is delivered in the classroom and practical areas at Herefordshire College.
