Our Government fully-funded, CSCS Construction Course gives you the skills and qualifications to gain employment in the construction industry.
The purpose of this qualification is to equip learners with the knowledge and understanding to progress to further training in a construction trade area at Level 2, and on completion at Level 2 to progress into a job role in the construction industry.
This Level 1 qualification provides learners with an overview of the construction industry and influencing factors both locally and nationally. Learners will also develop an understanding of the health and safety requirements for working in the construction industry. This qualification is made up of two units and assessed via two multiple choice examinations.
In addition, we pay for your CSCS card on successful completion of the course.
Jobs you could do
What you could study next
This Level 1 construction qualification is a stepping stone toward Level 2 trade training. From there, you could work toward a Level 2 NVQ in a specific trade such as bricklaying, plastering, or carpentry. A Level 2 NVQ is what most carpenters, bricklayers, and other skilled tradespeople need to apply for a CSCS skilled-worker card. The provider also supports learners with CSCS card costs on successful completion of this course.
