Free Functional Skills English Level 2 in Birmingham. Classes run at Queen Alexandra College.   • You'll write clearly and accurately for different purposes and audiences.
  • You'll use grammar, punctuation, and spelling at Level 2 standard.
  • You'll listen to and understand spoken information in formal and informal contexts.
  • You'll speak clearly and contribute to discussions and presentations.
  • You'll identify the main points and purpose of written and spoken material.

How you will learn

You'll study in a classroom at Queen Alexandra College, with specialist support and therapies built into your programme. Learning is tailored to students with disabilities and/or learning difficulties. Assessment is through a formal written exam and a speaking and listening assessment, both set and marked externally by City and Guilds.
