How you will learn
You'll learn in a classroom at Scarborough TEC during evening sessions. Assessment for the Pearson Edexcel Functional Skills Qualification in English Level 1 covers three components: reading, writing, and speaking, listening and communicating. Each component is assessed separately. Reading and writing are assessed through on-screen or paper-based tests. Speaking, listening and communicating is assessed by your tutor through observed tasks.
