About this course

Free Functional Skills English Level 1 in Gateshead. Classes run at B-Skill Redcar, with a mix of online study and time at the centre. You study reading, writing, speaking, and listening at Level 1. The course runs over 15 weeks with flexible daytime attendance. You'll have an initial assessment to confirm Level 1 is the right starting point and to plan your learning. When employers ask for GCSE English or equivalent, a Level 1 Functional Skills English Qualification is a recognised step toward that standard.
