Free Entry Level 2 Functional Skills English in Barnsley. Classes run at Royston Lifelong Learning Centre, daytime and part-time, so you can fit study around other commitments. The course runs for 36 weeks and covers reading, writing, and speaking and listening at Entry Level 2. It's a step toward Entry Level 3 and, eventually, the Level 2 qualification that employers recognise as a GCSE English alternative. How you will learn
You'll learn in a classroom at Royston Lifelong Learning Centre, with a tutor guiding each session. Assessment is through tasks and activities set by City and Guilds, covering reading, writing, and speaking and listening. You'll be assessed on your ability to complete these tasks at Entry Level 2 standard. Your tutor will track your progress throughout the course.
