You'll write clearly for everyday purposes, such as messages, forms, and short notes.
You'll spell and punctuate common words correctly.
You'll listen to and follow spoken information in everyday situations.
You'll speak clearly to communicate information and respond to questions.
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions with a tutor. Activities include reading exercises, writing tasks, and speaking and listening practice. Assessment is through tasks set by City and Guilds, covering reading, writing, and speaking and listening. You'll complete these assessments during the course.
