Free Entry Level 1 Maths Course in Scarborough. Classes run at Scarborough Adult Learning and Skills Service, part-time during the day. This free maths course for adults runs over 55 hours and covers maths at Entry Level 1. You do not need to sit an exam to gain your maths qualification. You'll have an initial assessment to confirm Entry Level 1 is the right starting point and to plan your learning. To be eligible for funding you must be 19 or over as at 31 August in the current academic year.

This course is for people who want to improve their Maths skills and gain a qualification in Maths without having to take an exam.You must not have a current Entry 1 level or higher qualification.

How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based activities and exercises at Scarborough Adult Learning and Skills Service. Assessment is portfolio-based, so there is no exam. You'll build up evidence of your skills during the course. Your tutor will support you through each topic at a manageable pace.
