Free BTEC Level 3 Engineering Course in Great Yarmouth. Classes run full-time at East Norfolk Sixth Form College, five days a week during the day. This level 3 BTEC engineering qualification covers the science and mathematics behind how things are designed, built, and made to work. You'll study how engineers solve real problems using applied maths and technical principles. The course takes 12 months to complete. Entry requires at least Grade 5 and 6 in Maths and Physics, or Maths and your best GCSE Science if you haven't taken Triple Award.
Who this course is for
Engineering is defined as the branch of science and technology concerned with the design, building, and use of engines, machines, and structures. In an overview engineering is a study of how obstructions can be overcome by the application of mathematics.
Entry requirements
At least a Grade 5 and 6 in Mathematics and Physics (for students who have studied Physics in Triple Science), or Mathematics and best GCSE Science (for students who have not studied Triple Award).
