If you're 19 or over, fees may apply, though a Learner Loan may be available. You'll develop technical skills in creating, producing and promoting music, and build an understanding of how the music industry works. The course runs over one year. You'll need four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English or maths, and you'll attend an interview to show your interest in music or music production.

Who this course is for

You will develop the technical skills to create, produce and promote music and you will gain an understanding of roles within the music industry.

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at grade 3 including English or maths. You will also be required to attend an interview where you should be able to demonstrate that you have an interest in music or music production.

What you will learn

  • You'll build knowledge of how the music business operates commercially.

How you will learn
