About this course

Free AAT Level 4 Accounting Course. Study online, at your own pace, over around 12 months. This is the final stage of the full AAT qualification. You'll study three mandatory units covering applied management accounting, drafting and interpreting financial statements, and internal accounting systems and controls. You'll also choose two specialist units from options including business tax, personal tax, audit and assurance, cash and financial management, and credit and debt management. Entry requires AAT Level 3 and five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and maths. Completing this free AAT accounting course makes you eligible to apply for MAAT membership.

The AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting is final stage of the full Association of Accounting Technicians qualification, and is for anyone who would like to get into or move on to their career in accounting and finance.

If you have related qualifications, a degree or some accounting experience already you may be able to claim exemptions from some elements of the course enabling you to achieve your qualification quicker.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above including English and maths. AAT Level 3.

How you will learn

You'll study online through a combination of self-paced learning materials and access to one-to-one sessions with qualified AAT tutors. Assessment is through AAT's computer-based exams for each unit. You sit exams when you're ready, so you can work through the course at a pace that suits you. KBM Training and Recruitment also offers accounting work experience alongside the qualification.
