Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice,further eligibility may be linked to where you live and your individual income.

You'll understand the principles of the accounting equation and ledger accounts.
You'll process transactions for sales, purchases, and cash books.
You'll reconcile accounts and identify and correct errors.

How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at Scarborough Adult Learning and Skills Service. Assessment is through AAT's externally set and marked assessments, which you'll sit at an approved centre. These are computer-based assessments covering the units in the qualification. Your tutor will guide you through the content and help you prepare for each assessment.
