Entry Level 3 ESOL Skills for Life: Reading Course in Kensington and Chelsea. Classes run at Morley College London North Kensington Campus, part-time during the day. The course runs over 5 weeks and focuses on developing your English reading skills, alongside writing, speaking, and listening. You'll take an initial assessment first. This confirms your level and makes sure Entry Level 3 is the right starting point for you.
Who this course is for
This course is for you if you want to continue studying after completing ESOL Entry 2 and build your confidence in using everyday English. The course will develop your reading, your writing and build your vocabulary. In this course, you will develop reading, speaking and listening and writing skills. Each term includes all four skills but focuses on a specific skill for the exam taken in that term. When you pass each skill, you will receive a certificate for that particular skill. To achieve the full ESOL Entry Level 3 qualification, you must pass Speaking and Listening Entry Level 3, Reading Entry Level 3 and Writing Entry Level 3.
Entry requirements
You will take an initial assessment which will determine your current level of English. You may join this course if your assessed level is just below the standards at Entry Level 3.

You'll practise writing skills alongside reading.
You'll develop speaking and listening skills as part of the course.
You'll prepare for a skills-based exam in reading at Entry Level 3.
How you will learn
You'll study in a classroom with a teacher. Each term covers all four English skills but focuses on one skill for the exam taken that term. Assessment is through a skills-based exam. When you pass the reading exam, you receive a Certificate for that skill.
