About this course

CELTA Level 5 TEFL Course in Richmond upon Thames. Classes run at Parkshot, two days a week, from 9:30am to 4:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The course runs over 10 weeks. You'll study the core principles of language teaching and develop practical skills for teaching English to adult learners. Units cover language analysis, language awareness, and all four skills: reading, listening, speaking, and writing. You'll also complete observed teaching practice. To enrol, you'll need to complete an application form, a pre-interview task, and a successful interview.

You'll finish with a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) at Level 5.

Entry requirements

You must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date. This course is for people with little or no previous teaching experience. You'll need to complete an application form and pre-interview task. A successful interview is required to enrol.

You must pass both the written and practical elements to complete the course.
