AAT Level 2 Certificate Accounting Course in Derby. Classes run at Derby College on Tuesdays, part-time during the day. You'll need GCSE grade 4 (C) or above in Maths and English to join, and an interview is required before you start. Entry requirements

You will need a minimum of grade 4 (C) in Maths and a good standard of English at GCSE grade 4 (C) or above.  You may have experience of working in an accounts office.  You will be required to complete an interview prior to the course and AAT recommends that students use AAT Skillcheck to ensure that they’re ready to start on a particular qualification.  The AAT Skillcheck will also be completed during the Induction Week with teaching staff.  It would benefit you to have completed the Level 1 in

How you will learn

You'll attend weekly classroom sessions at Derby College, with seven hours of teaching each Tuesday. Learning is delivered through a mix of tutor-led instruction and practical exercises. Assessment is by computer-based exams set and marked by AAT. You'll complete an AAT Skillcheck during induction week to confirm you're working at the right level. An interview is required before the course begins.
