Warehouse Operative
Location: Colchester, Essex
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established company based in Colchester, Essex. This is an ongoing temporary position with potential long-term opportunities.
This role plays an important part in the day-to-day operations of a busy logistics team and requires a hands-on, adaptable approach.
Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative:
Loading and unloading vehicles by hand
Accurately pick, pack and prepare customer orders using handheld scanners
Supporting other areas of the warehouse when required
Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets
Following all health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environmentThe ideal Warehouse Operative:
Previous warehouse or logistics distribution and supply chain experience preferred but not essential
Physically fit & comfortable with manual handling
Able to follow instructions and work independently
Flexible and willing to learn and support different areas of the operation
Strong written and verbal communication skillsWhat’s on Offer?
