Free Level 2 Logistics Skills Course in Stansted. Classes run at Stansted Airport College, full-time during the day.

The course focuses on working in aviation logistics and cargo handling. You'll build an understanding of how goods move through a fast-paced airport environment. It runs over one year and covers the principles, skills, and behaviours employers in the sector look for. You'll need five graded GCSEs to apply, and there's an interview as part of the process.

You'll finish with a Level 2 Diploma in Skills for Logistics.

Who this course is for

This qualification is designed to provide learners with a basic understanding of the principles of working within the aviation sector, specifically in logistics and handling cargo. Leaners will be provided with opportunities to develop skills and behaviours to ready them for work in this dynamic and fast moving environment. Progression onto a L3 programme after successful completion of this course in aviation or PEO aeronautical engineering.

Entry requirements

5 graded GCSEs (1-9 not including any "U"s). Interview.

If you have not yet achieved a grade 4 or above in Maths and English you will be required to continue to develop your Maths and English skills throughout the duration of this programme until you meet the required standard.

Assessment is through coursework and tasks set throughout the year. There is no written exam at the end.
