HR Administrator
Location: DN3, Doncaster
Salary: £31,000 per annum
Hours: 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time, permanent
The Role
We are recruiting an experienced HR Advisor to join an established organisation based in the DN3 area of Doncaster. This is a varied, hands-on position supporting managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle.
You will provide practical HR advice, manage employee-relations cases and help ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently. The successful candidate must hold a minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification and have previous experience within a generalist HR position.
Responsibilities

Provide professional HR guidance to managers and employees.

Manage employee-relations cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.
*
Support managers with investigations, meetings and formal HR processes.
*
Produce accurate letters, meeting notes and supporting documentation.
*
Assist with recruitment, interviews, offers and onboarding.
*
Coordinate probation reviews and employee development processes.
*
Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems.
*
Monitor sickness absence, holidays and other workforce information.
*
Support policy development and ensure procedures are followed consistently.
*
Provide advice in line with current UK employment legislation.
*
Assist with employee engagement, retention and wellbeing initiatives.
*
Prepare HR reports and identify workforce trends.
*
Liaise with payroll regarding employee changes when required.
*
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Requirements
*
CIPD Level 3 qualification would be preferred but HR experience without will be considered
*
Previous experience as an HR Advisor or within a similar generalist HR role.
*
Practical employee-relations and case-management experience.
*
Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
*
Confident advising and supporting managers.
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*
Strong organisation and attention to detail.
*
Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
*
Comfortable handling sensitive matters professionally and confidentially.
*
Competent using Microsoft Office and HR systems.

£31,000 annual salary.
