Customer Service Advisor
An established Exeter-based business is looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor to join its busy customer support team.
This is a varied role combining telephone-based customer service, order processing and administration. You’ll be supporting an established network of business customers, dealing with day-to-day enquiries and making sure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
It would suit someone who enjoys speaking to customers, is comfortable working in a busy environment and has strong attention to detail.
The role as a Customer Service Advisor:
Your responsibilities will include:
* Handling incoming calls from customers regarding orders, products and general enquiries
* Processing orders received by telephone and email
* Preparing order acknowledgements, invoices and pro-forma documentation
* Liaising with warehouse and distribution teams regarding customer deliveries
* Calculating applicable discounts and delivery/carriage charges
* Dealing with customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently
* Keeping customer information accurate and up to date on the CRM system
* Raising and managing customer service tickets where required
* Providing administrative and customer support to the field-based sales team
* Building positive working relationships with customers and colleagues across different departments
About you as a Customer Service Advisor:
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:
* Previous customer service, sales administration or order-processing experience
* Confident and professional telephone communication skills
* Good written communication
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Good Microsoft Office skills and general computer literacy
* The ability to manage several tasks and priorities at the same time
* A positive approach to learning new systems and product information
* The ability to work independently while also contributing to a wider team
