What you will learn

You'll build and maintain an e-portfolio of evidence from your school placement.
How you will learn
You'll attend 12 to 14 taught workshop sessions, scheduled every two to three weeks. Between sessions, you'll complete independent work at home and a weekly school placement of at least one day. Assessment is through assignments, observations of you working with children or young people, reflective accounts, and professional discussions. You'll also have regular one-to-one tutorials with your tutor. All evidence is collected in an e-portfolio.
What you will need to bring
You'll need a current DBS check before you start (the centre can support you with this). You'll also need a confirmed placement at a school or college where you'll work at least one day a week, and the agreement of that school to support your assessment. Swans Centre for Innovation will confirm anything else you need before you start.
