Paediatric First Aid Course in Bristol. Classes run at Ashley Down Centre, part-time during the day, and the course takes one week to complete. There are no formal entry requirements. You'll learn how to respond to medical emergencies involving infants and children, covering everything from choking and CPR to recognising serious illness. Childminders and childcare workers who may be in sole charge of children are required to hold a current paediatric first aid certificate, and this level 3 paediatric first aid qualification meets that need.
Who this course is for
Award in Paediatric First Aid is primarily aimed at those working in child-care settings, but it will also be useful for anyone with a responsibility for caring for infants and children. Additionally, child minders, and any assistant who might be in charge of children for any period of time, must also hold a current paediatric first aid certificate.
