NVQ Level 2 Plumbing and Heating Course in Paignton. Classes run at South Devon College, part-time during the day, over two years. This is a work-based NVQ, so you must already be employed in the plumbing industry. An assessor will visit you on site to observe your work, and you'll attend college workshops on agreed dates. You'll also build an online evidence diary of the work you complete. The level 2 nvq plumbing and heating qualification is awarded by City and Guilds and is the recognised competence-based route for working plumbers.

Who this course is for

This standalone NVQ serves as a diary of the work you complete while employed as a plumber.Our assessor will visit you onsite several times to evaluate your competence, and you will be expected to attend College workshops on dates agreed between you and the assessor.You will receive initial online training to help you upload evidence to your online diary. You should already be working in the plumbing industry and may be required to complete additional theory units where appropriate. The course fee includes your e-portfolio license and NVQ assessments.Upon successful completion of your NVQ, you may choose to progress onto the Level 3 Diploma in Gas Engineering.

You must have completed an appropriate vocational qualification at Level 2, You will require good literacy and IT skills, You must be working alongside a qualified plumber
