Level 1 Basic Construction Skills Course in Paignton. Classes run full-time during the day at South Devon College. Who this course is for
This course is ideal for individuals who wish to work within the Construction Sector and develop a better understanding of the trades and how they work alongside one another.Whilst on the course you will develop range of Skills and Knowledge across a range of trade specialisms which will include Brickwork, Carpentry, Electrical, Painting and Decorating and Plumbing.You will also study core subject areas such as Health and Safety in a Practical Environment and Communication Skills in Preparing for Work.In addition, you will have opportunities to practice the Skills and Knowledge learnt through community-based projects and enrichment activities.
