About this course

NVQ Level 2 Curtain Walling Course at GFTS Doncaster. Classes run at the centre, with a mix of online study and on-site assessment over 12 months.

This NVQ curtain walling qualification confirms you can install curtain wall systems to industry standards. You'll cover a range of system types and installation environments. The course is designed for people already working in the industry. Prices range from £525 to £925 plus VAT, covering delivery, assessment, portfolio, and certification.

You'll finish with an NVQ Certificate in Curtain Wall Installation at Level 2.

Who this course is for

The aim of this qualification is to confirm that the candidate has the skills and knowledge to install Curtain Wall systems on site. It is not expected that all curtain wall installers will carry out identical tasks as there are many variations in system types and installation environments so the qualification had been developed to allow as wide an uptake as possible. All of the work needs to be completed in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations and health and safety guidelines.

How you will learn

The course blends online study with practical, work-based assessment. You'll gather evidence of your curtain wall installation work on site and compile it into a portfolio.
