About this course

Level 7 Accountancy or Taxation Professional Course in Gateshead. Classes run at Access Training Gateshead, part-time during the day. Funding comes through your employer's apprenticeship levy or through employer co-investment, so fees may apply depending on your employer's situation. This is a 36-month apprenticeship aimed at professionals working in management accounting, business finance, and financial analysis. You'll develop strategic financial management skills, sharpen your decision-making, and build the expertise needed for senior finance roles. Entry requirements vary depending on your existing qualifications, including AAT Level 4 or a relevant degree.

Entry requirements

If you're qualified to AAT level 4, you're exempt from the Certificate in Business Accounting level and can start at the Professional Operational level straight away. If you’re a graduate with an accountancy or finance degree, you may be eligible to start at the Professional Strategic level. You will need to provide your certificates to apply for exemptions directly on the CIMA website. You must have gained your qualification with the last 7 years to be eligible for a CIMA exemption.
