About this course

CMI Certificate in Management and Leadership. Study online at your own pace, with tutor support built in.

The course takes around 3 months to complete. It covers how to lead and manage individuals and teams. You'll also study how to create and deliver operational plans, and how to use reflective practice to develop professionally. The course suits practising middle managers and those moving into management roles. There are no entry requirements beyond being 18 or over.

You'll finish with a Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership, plus Foundation Chartered Manager Status from CMI.

Who this course is for

This qualification is designed for practising middle managers and leaders at operations, division, departmental or specialist level, who are typically accountable to a senior manager or a business owner.

The primary role of a practising or aspiring manager and leader is to lead and manage individuals and teams to deliver the aims and objectives in line with the organisational strategy.

Upon completing the Certificate qualification you will be awarded Foundation Chartered Manager Status. Putting aspiring and early-career managers on a guided development pathway to becoming a fully-fledged Chartered Manager.
