Level 5 Management and Leadership Course. Study online, with fortnightly live group sessions every other Thursday evening via Microsoft Teams. The course runs over 12 months, part-time, so you can balance it alongside work. It's free to study from anywhere with an internet connection. You'll need a GCSE grade 4 (or Level 2 equivalent) in maths and English, and a current role with some management responsibility. Units cover principles of management, leading teams, managing change, stakeholder relationships, project management, operational planning, and finance. Assessment is through work-based assignments.

The Diploma in Management & Leadership is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management and involves learners studying part-time College activities and work-based projects. The qualification is suitable for those who are or wish to become team leaders or supervisors in the work place. It is a great start for those at the beginning of their leadership career or for existing managers wishing to further develop and accredit their knowledge. Please note: The class starts on 12/09/2024 and classroom attendance is fortnightly, every other Thursday (evening).

How you will learn
The course is delivered online. Fortnightly live group sessions run via Microsoft Teams on Thursday evenings, every other week. Optional face-to-face sessions are available at the end of each module. You'll also study independently between sessions using the Mindful Education platform. Assessment is through work-based assignments, one per unit, submitted to the college. A qualified tutor supports you throughout.
