About this course

Level 4 Advanced Childcare Practice and Management Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You train while working in a childcare role, building management skills alongside your day-to-day practice. This course can be funded through an Advanced Learner Loan. Fees apply, but the loan is not means-tested and repayments only start once your income exceeds the threshold. The advanced childcare practice and management qualification takes around 24 months to complete. It is designed for practitioners already holding a relevant Level 3 qualification who want to take on greater responsibility.

Who this course is for

This qualification is aimed at all practitioners working in the childcare workforce at Level 3, such as childminders, nursery practitioners, preschool practitioners, out of school/holiday provision workers. The qualification provides practitioners with the opportunity to upskill, and develop management skills so that they can take on new roles and responsibilities.
