About this course

Level 4 Adult Care Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You train while you work, applying your learning directly in your care role. Funding is available through an Advanced Learner Loan, which covers tuition, assessment, registration, and certification costs. Loans are not means-tested and are open to learners aged 19 or over. You'll develop specialist knowledge and skills as a lead practitioner, and build a values-based culture in your setting. The course takes around 18 months to complete. You'll need to be working, volunteering, or on a practical placement throughout.

This qualification will support learners to develop specialist knowledge and skills in their area of responsibility and enable learners to promote a values-based culture within their setting.

This qualification can act as a progression route from the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care qualification to the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care qualification.

The qualification also aligns to the Apprenticeship Standard for Lead Practitioner in Adult Care.
