Level 3 Makeup Artistry Course in Pontefract. Classes run at Nail Flairs Training Academy, part-time during the day over around five months. An Advanced Learner Loan can fund the course for eligible learners, with registration and kit costs included.

The course covers applying makeup, fashion and photographic makeup, media makeup, camouflage makeup, and promoting products and services. An airbrush makeup unit is also available. You'll build the practical skills to work in a commercial salon, on a retail concession, or independently as a mobile or home-based artist.

You'll finish with a VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Make-Up Artistry.

Who this course is for

This diploma will prepare you for a career as a make-up artist. The diploma includes: applying make-up, instruction on make-up, fashion and photographic make-up, media make-up, camouflage make-up and promoting products and services, We also offer airbrush make-up as an extra unit. Completion of this diploma can lead to: working in a commercial beauty salon, retail concession, working independently/self-employed/mobile/home-based. You could also apply to university to study further media make-up.
