Level 3 Floristry Course in London. Classes run at Capel Manor College Mottingham Campus, part-time during the day, over one year. You'll build advanced knowledge of the retail floristry industry, covering creative design, plant and flower care, event floristry, and business management. The course includes 150 hours of work experience in the floristry industry, so you gain hands-on practice alongside your studies. Entry requirements apply, and a Level 2 floristry qualification or relevant industry experience is ideally needed before you start.

Who this course is for

This course will provide you with comprehensive knowledge of the retail floristry industry at an advanced level. If you have previously completed a Level 2 qualification and want to further develop your skills, then this is the ideal course for you.

Entry requirements

Ideally you will need to complete the Diploma in Floristry (Level 2) to progress onto this course, but industry experience will also be considered.

If you are aged between 16 and 18 years old, you will need at least five GCSEs at grade 5 or above (A* to C) including maths, English or science. You will also be invited to attend a fun and practical one-day preparation workshop where you will meet your tutors and other students on your course. You'll learn through practical sessions in the classroom, industry visits, and personal creative projects. Assessment includes two externally set online exams (covering health and safety and floristry theory), one externally set practical assessment that is internally marked and externally moderated, short assignments, mock assessments, homework, and a portfolio of your work. Employer involvement in delivery and assessment is a requirement of this qualification.
