Level 3 Floristry Course in Acton. Classes run at Capel Manor College Gunnersbury Park Campus, part-time during the day, over one year. You'll build advanced knowledge of the retail floristry industry, covering creative design, plant and flower care, event floristry, and business management. The course includes 150 hours of work experience in the floristry industry. You'll ideally have a Level 2 Diploma in Floristry, though relevant industry experience is also considered. Entry requirements for 16 to 18 year olds include at least five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including maths, English or science.

Entry requirements

Ideally you will need to complete the Diploma in Floristry (Level 2) to progress onto this course, but industry experience will also be considered.

If you are aged between 16 and 18 years old, you will need at least five GCSEs at grade 5 or above (A* to C) including maths, English or science. You will also be invited to attend a fun and practical one-day preparation workshop where you will meet your tutors and other students on your course. Assessment includes two externally set online exams (covering health and safety and floristry theory) and one practical assessment that is externally set, internally marked, and externally moderated. The qualification is graded Pass, Merit, Distinction, or Distinction*. Employer involvement in delivery and assessment is a formal requirement of this qualification.
